CR 210 OVER US 1 AND FEC RAILROAD

This project consisted of the realignment of CR 210 in St. Johns County including construction of a new structural steel bridge over FECRR and US 1. The construction of this project provides a constant thoroughfare for motorists traveling on CR 210 and eliminates the two existing traffic signals located on US 1. Coordination with the railroad was critical in scheduling major bridge activities. The bridge utilized a weathering steel superstructure to decrease long term maintenance costs for FDOT.
